This presentation will look at an institutional model for elearning infrastructure and examine how the various pieces of the model can be accommodated through open source technologies.

Examples of open source course management, content management, portal, digital repository and journal systems will be demonstrated.

A discussion of future direction and applied research with respect to open source elearning technologies will ensue.
