The presentation will focus on ancillary skills and services that can be provided to the open source community if one is not a developer. I will discuss these various activities, including documentation, user testing, usability, community support, and business analysis. Using two key examples -- Paul Frields and Shailaja Kumar -- I'll explain how involvement in open source development can provide a launching pad for a career in software developemt, even if you're not a developer!
