While a lot of social media platforms are using Open Source software, a lot of Open Source projects do not take advantage of the opportunities given by social media. This presentation will explore what social media is, what a social business is, how it can be a part of an Open Source Business Model, and help with the commercialization of Open Source projects. Finally, some legal issues will be discussed and solutions offered to avoid them.
