FreeNAS is an open source, network attached storage platform based on FreeBSD. FreeNAS 8.3 features a Plugins Jail for extending core NAS functionality as well as ZFSv28.

This presentation will:

* provide an overview of FreeNAS features
* demonstrate some common configuration examples
* introduce the Plugins Jail architecture and how to install and configure additional software
