Systemtap is a system-wide instrumentation tool for both developers and system administrators, utilizing the strengths of tracers, profilers and debuggers for enhanced system observability. This presentation will outline
and demonstrate the new user space runtime solution; dyninst, the java virtual machine probe points, as well as a brief introduction to the tool for those unfamiliar with it.
