An entertaining and thoughtful reflection on the deeper aspects of the "open source" community. The presentation will explore the underlying motivation for developers and users of open source software. Content will come from an annotated bibliography, reports of conversations and interviews with people involved in the open source community (some of whom are very well known), along with some thoughts and considerations of "open source" as a model for the making of a better world.
