Emerging hyperscale ARM computing platforms promise to reduce data centre size, power consumption, and cooling requirements. In order to be accepted by the industry, these new systems must run standard software stacks. In addition, there are many new challenges in standardization, networking, and management posed by the sheer scale of these systems.
